I LOVE Tom T Hall!! I know he has done his time on stages all over the world, but it still makes me sad that he is retired. I never got the chance to see him live. Maybe he'll do another one of these small shows again, I'd give anything to be there!
This might be my favorite Tom T. Hall song, and that's saying a lot cause he does so many great songs. This is a good performance. Good to see I'm not the only one who sometimes forgets the words to my own songs. :o)
I listened to a lot of Tom T. Hall over the years on the radio but I just got a few greatest hits type cd's recently. The man is a poetic genius in my books. It doesn't even matter if he forgets the words here and there because he wrote them. Thank you for posting.
