Energy-efficient window fries Prius

Heather Patron of Studio City, California, noticed the plastic on her Toyota Prius' sideview mirror was melting. She believes the cause is her neighbor's "green" window. A beam of light reflected from the window is clearly visible in a news report by the local CBS affiliate. The beam heats the exposed area to 120º Fahrenheit. Patron is not alone in her complaint.
