you play this song like... perfect... Don't mind all those demons saying the pace is too fast... It's great! This is actually the only performance of Rachmaninov's Prelude in G Minor that I listen to, as this is perfect!
Good Job, I love it... PLease do his Prelude in C Sharp Minor... It's great too :) Hope you can nail it

with a little more strength and speed, you will sound exactly like Evgeny Kissin.

I though that was pretty good am doing this peice myself, some play it fast some play it slower persoanally i like round this speed may be very slightly faster but we all play at the speed we are comfortable and like no pianist will play this peice the same i listne to many on you tube and at all different tempos.

Nice playing! Please feel free to listen and comment on my version of this piece.
Yep I agree that you can play at a higher speed especially 0:33-1:18 and the similar parts towards the end. I like your interpretation and your running notes at the end. It's really 5/5 stars for someone who is doing this as a first go! (PS: what's the cost of this Steinbach & Sons baby grand for you? Sorry to ask such a question... I'm looking for one!)

@BalletCava Thanks for the comment! It's not my piano, but I know it's a Steinway L and the owner paid about $25,000 for it used.

i downloaded a progam called synthesia and got the midi file for this piece .. and its mad hard.. ive memorised all of it and can play it but not at speed.. the hardest part is the d major with the a octaced and then u sharpen the 5ths by a semi tone... thats good advice i saw u posted there.. it exactley what ive been trying to do.... great playing by the way

@handycappo Thanks! Yeah, just play it slowly, and pay attention to proper fingering and controlling tension in your wrists, and you'll get it in no time.
