I transplanted about 20 plants that were fending for themselves for years along the sun side of the fence. They gave a handful of berries during the summer, nothing spectacular.
I'm not into gardening, in fact, I did this as a favour for my Mum. These were set up in three rows in the middle of the garden with sun all day long. I threw on some dry, sheep manure at the outset.
I watered them each day and this worked great. Trouble is, I have a very healthy crop of leaves but few berries.

@hopeso nah we have long both. But it just saves time. and you can't bugger up when placing them
