SoCal Fire

Can we all wake up now?The Socal fires of summer 2009 were the work of Jihadis using paid illegals or local sleepers.They wiped out a large piece of the landscape,wrecked the health of many,and destroyed lives and property just as in 911.They found a soft target.

ok i agree not to call these guys stupid.. it is a risk and they were probably aware of the weather expectations for that day. the conditions and fuel type makes holding a burn like that very difficult. i may have not burned in these conditions but i was not there and hate to arm chair quarterback. its a toss up. either way its a bad situation.

so stupid don't they have experience dealing with this?

and whats your expertise in these matters?? Clearly it said the wind shifted and thats a risk ya have to take in order to remove fuel in advance of a fire.

just shows how ignorant u are.dont call them stupid my uncle was out there in the malibu fires helping to put them out.they do but mother nature isnt helping.i agree with the person that had commented before me.

there is one thing they could of did better and that takin drip torches and start workin by along the road first and then start shootin flares upward. i understand mothernature can be a pain but fire does make its own wind and weather, by doin little burns first then start with the flares it would of allowed the fire they put on the ground by the road move to the main back burn
