Star Trek TMP Enterprise Second life

I am currently building a Full scale Constitution Class Starship Enterprise in the game of Second life

As the video above shows, it is still a work in progress, but anyone is free to look around. Please IM Malic Tolsen if you have any questions

In SL the sim name is Vanadiel

There is a teleporter at ground level that will take you to the shuttle bay, and due to its height above the ground, you can fly all around it without the need of a flight enhancer.

The video is a composite, reaction shots are taken from the movie, but the parts where the ship is seen is from SL. I used a 3D mouse to recreate the camera angles as close as i can.

@TheReboot70 Oh, this is just a 3d model in a free to play game called second life, not a dedicated 3D modeling program, camera motion for example was done by hand with a 3D mouse, and had to line up all angles by eye. I have yet to even texture the ship, ill redo it with later when i get the textures and my blueray high def for the shots of the actors.. nothing on it is mesh, its limited to the basic "prims" that SL offers, a bunch of flattened cubes really.

@starsiegeplayer Yes, or at least it will be. A few of the decks, mostly the cargo bay, have been roughly placed while i make sculpts and/or wait to see what linden labs decides to do with meshes. I do plan on having all 21 decks though.

I don't make personal threat so you don't remember me from those incidents. On the GFC sims? You mean my flying around, because that was the commotion on those sims, that I flew around alot in vehicles I constructed. Other than that, some idiot came up to me in a sandbox and although my ship said its security system was on, he rushed into it like a total noob and it shot him, as if that was a big deal?... I apologized by the way, but that was SO total noob... that was you?! OMG! grow up!

The reason "I" have banned you from the sim, is due to your actions against myself when I ran the security section of the GFC sims.

There are very few people that i remember by name, and yours, is one I do remember, because you caused some of the biggest disruptions in those sims. Please remember, this is not my first avatar. When you make personal threats against me, I dont make them back, but when I open my own sim, dont expect to be shown the red carpet.

The build looked good, but when I asked questions and flew around the build I got permanently banned and can no longer return. That then is the flavor of this man's Star Trek universe, more draconian Klingon and control freak than the Star Trek Federation of the stories, TV and movies. HIS WORLD, HE OWNS IT, and he will likly toss me off this comment list , just for revealing the truth of it.

The build itself is in the sim of Vanadiel. I have set up a very rough interior while I make detailed interior sculpts and textures. Currently there is a small wood box on the rear that when clicked will open/close the shuttlebay doors tilli get the control panels in place. I have another ship in a rezzer others use for RPs right now, as well as people bring their own RP sets too. Anyone is free to come over, and if I'm around, i don't mind any questions they have.

When will this remarkable build be established? I rarely go on second life but I would be interested in logging in and becoming a member of your crew. Is the project still running?
