FIRST: I am NOT a squid, but I'm not riding around in leathers in my own parking lot.

In this video I compare the Leo Vince SBK Oval with (part 1) and without (part 2) the optional silencer installed. With the silencer installed, the ehxuast tone is noticeably different compared to stock but still retains a low decibel level. When the insert it out, the story changes comletely. The tone goes to a deep rumble at idle and to a loud throaty sound during acceleration. I'm very happy with this exhaust and highly recommend it to any who are interested. Construction quality is also a big selling point - not only are the pipes constructed and welded cleanly, but they look great as well.

  • wow you may have just convinced me to buy this exhaust... just wondering is it required to do a fender elimination to fit this exhaust?

  • @SKStylez

You don't need a FE to use a slip-on, they're designed to fit the stock bike and the stock FE.

  • @SKStylez

Negative, the exhaust will fit with the stock lights on the back.

No issues on my install, what type of problems did you have? Worst part of mine was the rear hanger for the can.

  • @daturnerman76 hi i worked in an exhaust fitting centre for 12 years fitting exhausts on cars i would not have lasted one day fitting them on bikes.nothing fitted right bolts to short ,the bolt on the interpipe took about two hours to get on NO ROOM ,but now its on sounds & looks the dogs *******s

Definitely doesn't sound correct, my installation was fairly easy compared to what you described. May want to check the box you got it in, call your distributor, or even call Leo Vince, to ensure you got the correct year. Even the slightest change in the connecting pipe would cause you those types of problems. Considering it's a modular exhaust, it's entirely possible you got an incorrect part.
