New York Fashion Industry Report for June/July 2006

This month: FICA's 'Fur Fashion Week' for fall/winter 2006 which was held this past week is really a misnomer; since it wasn't 7 days but 3. Eleven shows were held in individual showrooms around town (primarily the fur district, 7th Avenue, and 5th Avenue and 57th Street). And although it ran smoothly and was well organized thanks to Sandy Blye, if I had one criticism, it was that the schedule really could have been tightened up and condensed into 2 days.

If you stand behind an organization and post comments like that, then you're tarnishing the reputation of that organization. You are actually working AGAINST that organization. If you PETA bitches wanted to do something to make a difference you should get off your fat asses and join an organization. But your comments are meaningless because you're sitting on your fanny writing comments on a page that only I saw. PETA people have a bad reputation and many of them have criminal records from assault charges. Two wrongs don't make a right. Look at how evil your comments are. I'm waiting for the chance to file charges against anyone who threatens a friend of mine.

The fur industry is a dying industry, I hope. They are all barbarians and murders, from the cruel man that painfully torture and skin the dog alive for a couple of dollar, to the big director in the furshop that make thousands or millions of dollars.
