Last Space Shuttle Launch at Night 4-5-10 from Bleachers @ KSC

Space Shuttle Discovery launch STS-131 view from the bleachers 6 miles from pad 39A at 6:21am at NASA Kennedy Space Center. You can see the countdown clock and liftoff in this video. This is the last night launch of the space shuttle program. Just 17 minutes before you could see the International Space Station pass through the moon's view. One of my other videos captures this.

The sound is amazing, you can feel it in your chest. What a fantastic opportunity to see it so close!

We were lucky enough to get free tickets from someone we knew. About 5 to 10 seconds after the engines fired you could really feel it, which was more prominent than the sound. Very interesting sound (cracking and popping).

Welp... US just lost is ability in space, a ton of technology, and most of the agency that has given us multiple discoveries.

Saved a piddly amount of money while boosting social programs. Terrific.

I feel sorry for my future kids as they will not aspire to be astronauts because there will nothing too fly.

Sad to see the US fall so greatly for such a small amount of funds.
