They're probably going to hear the "complaints" from the Disneyland one and change it for the Florida one. I really wish there could be another castle in California!!
@BlackStarx3 They aren't really trying to manuevar away from it as they are trying to balance Disney and California together. How do I know? Buena Vista Street ==> Old Los Angeles Paradise Pier ==> Many boardwalks and piers in CA Hollywoodland should be self explanatory and so on.
Disney wouldn't make a giant castle on Paradise Pier. That wouldn't fit the area at all. Disney does a thing called "theming". Everything has to match the area it's in.
@adwestmediairvine actually they are starting to manuevar away from the "California" theme... as an annual pass holder it kindave ticked me off because wat they are doing is they are trying to create more of a DISNEY influence more then a "California Pier" feel. This is scene is stripping down the Sun Wheel => Mickey's Fun Wheel. Orange => Silly Symphony. Mahalan Madness => Goofy's Sky School. The only reason they didnt make a giant castle is because it wouldve taken up too much space.
The ride's the same but that's where the similarities end. Disney California Adventure's building needed to match the Paradise Pier theme. A castle wouldn't have worked. The entrance is a replica of The Palace of Fine Arts in San Francisco, and the building itself has the look of an early 20th century aquarium in California.
I SAW THEM BUILDING THIS ABOUT 2 YEARS AGO AND THEY WILL BE NEWLY FINISHED WHEN I GO BACK SO EXCITED!!!
