Out ride this!!!
For those who may not realize what you are watching... this is a skills contest in Japan, from the '80s. The bikes are VFR750's. Some have already said this but... This is harder than riding 120+mph down a highway. In some ways this type of riding is more difficult than track riding... Cops train like this because of the type of maneuvers they will need to make. Going WFO isn't something officers actually do.
Search around, you'll find other police "rodeo" competitions. And you'll find they are very good at what they do... And this is just an example.

I lived in Japan for 5 years....you don't try to outrun motorcycle cops in Japan..they are amazing! and they ride 750 sport bikes

Yes the cops in Japan had to ride like this in the 80's because skills were needed to catch them fast azz
