The orchestra's members are all under 26 years old.
So its sound is fresh and youngful.
Rattle and Abbado support the orchestra and even they said
"The future of classical music depends on Venezuela"

Always like how the Italian sym. explodes out of the gate--like a race horse on the track...one of the most effective starts for ANY symphony right up there with the Beethoven 5th. Mendel.'s composition also very successfuly conveys his impressions of that energetic, sunny country and transforms it into symphonic language. LOVE how the two themes crash decorously into each other mid way in the movement!

El maestro de mi papa es un arreglista, y es de venezuela. Toca el jazz como si nada, pero lo mas raro de todo es su maldita armonia, una armonia que no entiendo ni como jodidos se arma. Pff, mis respetos a los venezolanos. Sin duda son muy buenos musicos. Espero que este tipo no se muera antes de que me de clases a mi jajaja. 76 anos y sige siendo muy activo en senor. Un saludo y gran orquesta por cierto.

Este Felipe Izcaray debe ser un grande, puesto que logra hacer sonar a una orquesta juvenil y/o provinciana de forma extraordinaria, como si fuera la Filarmónica de Viena o de Berlín. Lamentablemente no pude seguir su proceso al frente de la Orquesta Sinfónica de Salta, desde su fundación hasta llevarla, se dice, en poquísimos años, a ser una de las mejores orquestas de la Argentina, lo que conlleva un mérito inusual.
