things such as furnishing or connecting bases may be taking liberties with reality, but honestly its needed to keep interest. As an mmo this doesn't seem to use the social aspect or interactivity aspect of mmo's to its advantage. From this trailer I don't see why this isn't a single player game.

I can see the need for making this as a generator for interest in space in general, and specifically the moon. That said I fail to see how this will hold anybody but the hardcore player's interest. Think about it from the average person's perspective, is simply walking around fun on the bare (but nonetheless beautiful) scenery of the moon? is all we're doing sitting around and reparing bases? No expansion? If this is an mmo, no connecting bases or furnishing them?
