I think it is disgusting the way we celebrate Christmas

It takes a conviction of the Holy Spirit to stop celebrating this day. Then you have to contend with your family. I have tried not to partake of it for years now but because of my husband I can not totally stop doing it. Y'hovah was not even born in December.

we have not done xmas presents in yrs. we pool all the money we would normally spend, we find a single parent who is struggling to put themselves through college and have a genuine need. then we get a money order and get it to them anonymously. that is what we do for the silly season. and then we get together for however many days everybody is off and play badminton, horse shoes, bocce', bingo, board games, whatever.... just spend time being family.

The greatest lies ever told. Christmas has something to do with Yeshua, and Easter has something to do with anything. When do they ever talk about hunting eggs in the bible. Christmas is the pagan holiday celebrated on the winter solstice. Thank you Catholic Church for all of your pagan holidays.

My husband and I do not celebrate Christmas either. I point out Jeremiah chapter 10 to those who put up a X-mas tree. Usually doesn't go over too well.

Dec.25th is most likely the conception of Yeshua. God has given us his feasts to celebrate. All others are routed in paganism. The truth shall indeed set us free.
