"According to the Economist the total US spend on health care is 15.4% of GDP including both state and private. With that it gets 2.6 doctors per 1,000 people, 3.3 hospital beds and its people live to an average age of 78.2. As a whole Europe spends 9.6% of GDP on health care, has 3.9 doctors per 1,000 people, 6.6 hospital beds and live until they are 81.15 years old. The US has the most expensive health care system that seems not to be effective, which is very bizarre indeed.

A friend of mine has insurance, works at a major hotel in Las Vegas, went in for a gall bladder operation last week. She now owes over $20 grand. This has sunk her. She has insurance. She has a decent job. She now will have f'd up credit because of this. She's worked all her life, never once been on public assistance, always took care of herself. No no no, we don't need to overhaul healthcare at all. Not one little bit. Please.

The USA has the ... "BEST SPECIALISTS" ... but our Health Care System stinks and is ranked as the Low 37th on a World Scale !! It's like saying "THE USA WON THE MOST GOLD MEDALS IN THE OLYMPICS ... SO THE ENTIRE AMERICAN POPULATION IS MADE OF TOP ATHLETES !!
When in reality we have an overweight & sick ...(cancer~heart diseases~diabetic)... population, compared to other nations. Don't buy into the Right-Wing propaganda.
