However the power of this car was nothing compared to the Audi Quattro with up to 560 HP. But they cannot be compared to each other, because the Audi was newer and it was AWD. I like the opels much more.

actually this wasn't a GS/E... this was the Manta 400-rallye-version: a 2.4 liter 4 cylinder 16-valve engine with aprox. 275 HP esp. build for rallying. The same engine was used in the Manta400 street-version with only 144 HP. The original GS/E or GT/E had only 110 HP.
