This is one of the first of many Bay Area weathercast I did from 1980 until retiring from commercial broadcasting December 23, 2001. Broadcast veteran Jim Paymar was the anchor.
There's something cool about watching a local weather forecast from some random day when I was like 11 years old and in the 6th grade. Bravissimo earthweek!
They used the golden gate from at least the early 70s. The 3D animated version debuted in 84, and was around till about 88 when they updated to the current '4' type.
Must be your first time using computerized graphics and chyron text in the weathercast over the lo-tech stuff in your earlier vids. Seemed like by this point most stations in my area have changed over by this point.

Right at :25secs the weather marquee looks exactly the same as it does today. Everything else has pretty much changed with technology.
