Sometimes, a hug is all we need. The global Free Hugs Campaign began as the real life controversial story of Juan Mann, whose sole mission was to reach out and hug strangers to brighten their lives.
In the tradition of the original campaign, we hope our San Francisco "Hugathon" and video will make others feel better on a local and global scale and that you will share this with a friend and hug a stranger.

you know...any one of us can do this on a weekend..when the weather's warm..grab a few friends..make some signs..pack a picnic lunch..and spend the day giving love to one another and spending it with good friends...just make sure someone brings a video camera...Start your own campaign..Nothing's stopping you!..Nothing's stopping me!
