And it was Scottish thinker Thomas Carlyle who acknowledged that the most Bogus claim Western historians made was that Islam was spread through Violence and tragically many still believe that. Let me tell you NOTHING can be achieved through FORCE. Look at Indonesia, it has the largest Muslim population in the World, and NO Muslim army has ever set his foot in that land, was it spread through Violence?

And Islam doesn't see any other religion as a threat, I think it's other religions who see Muslims as threat.Look at the violence against Muslims from Chechnya, Bosnia,South THailand, India, to the Crusades where 1 million Muslims were killed by Christians, and in Spain where Christians forcefully tried to convert Muslims to Christ or else burned them to death. So i think It was Christianity which was spread through violence in Spain when 750 years of Muslim rule came to an end.

I wouldn't call Buddhis, Shinto..religions..I think they can be termed as Ideas. Buddha the Hindu Brahmin never said he is God himself or a Prophet.

Brother Comprellion. Religions are not political parties or anything of such that the Older it is..the more superior it is. Islam is a continuation and redeemed version of the right message that God has revealed through his Prophets such as Isa(Jesus)PBUH, and Musa(Moses) PBUH.
