I always wandered what the deal was with their name going from Yazoo to Yaz. I knew them as Yaz, but in the UK they were known as Yazoo... Ohhhhh So Vince is incredible. He's written so many great songs. Love him so much. Alison was amazing. They were at the Fox Theatre in Oakland a couple years back. They should be here for SF Pride. That would be amazing.

@lowde2000 I had forgotten that. Yazoo is trademarked by a drinks company and they threatened to bankrupted the band. They also tried it on in the UK courts but drop it after the layers pointed out trade mark law is different hear. A good band but she was always being pushed to diet by the music company.
