The Dynamically Transparent Window has been developed by a team from CAVI and the Department of Information & Media Studies at The University of Aarhus. Additional information at the project web-site (http://www.cavi.dk/projects/salling.php).
The reason for an install like this is to have casual walkers change the content of a visual walker and thereby create a point of intrigue, interest and engagement. It could also serve well simply as an art installation. Well done
What they have created is a motion / positioning display solution that displays an image on a window that has the projected content change according to their motion and position. The window has been coated with an ICEAV Polymer projection foil or similar and using an in air sensor the (probably) flash based content changes.
