2009 Subaru WRX Engine Failure

My friends 09 WRX engine just went on him. The car had 16,846 KM, MFD:08/08 and his VIN:**********502454.

It was already "blown" from the beginning of the video. You can hear how lumpy it is at idle, kind of like it's knocking.

Ha it was raced so the oil slid the side of the engine witched screwed the engine is my guess but if wrong get the dealer to fix it.

It wasn't raced. This is a widespread problem in all of the early 2009 wrx's. You can find so many other people that went through this if you search "2009 wrx spun bearing"

mine 09 xt went then stalled with in 10 seconds of the noise starting didn't restart had to get it towed to the dealer

That is freakin ridiculous man! I would be SO FREAKIN PISSED! I have a 2008 Wrx. I would love to get an 09. I did not know the engines were SH@$ LOL
