@peri8215 Taking corners will require some practice, but I don't think you would start too late. I've seen 50 year olds windsurfing so...

I guess it's most easy to learn with an instructor, maybe you can go to a surf school where they'll teach you how to surf. With a lot of wind, a 5 or 6 m2 sail would do. Depending on your weight, you should buy a board that floats well (if it's a lighter one sinking when not moving itll be very hard). like 130+ Liters may be good to start.

if u need a board that big and a sail that big .. dont go out .. not worth going out

well dont buy gear, go take a class, learning on ur own is hard and not good (im an instructor) and videos dont necisarly help, they r nice but not great, dont buy gear until u r absolutely ready and u actually r deticated to the sport ( and gear is very expensive!!)

Definitely not too late.

I recommend you buy the DVD Beginner to Winner (or download it if that's your thing).

After watching it you'll have more than enough information to start windsurfing.

hi all. Im 28 years old and I never surfed in my life but I want to start

1- is it too late?

2- Can I surf just with all info at youtube ?

3- What should be the dimensions of the board and sail ( Im 180cm tall ( 5'11" ) and I have ocean with lots of windsurfers with so nice wind and I want a fast surf so which one should I choose???
