I can't get my wired connection working, I know exactly what it is but I don't know how to fix it, I rang them, some foreign twat picked up and kept saying "CHECK YOUR WIRELESS CARD" when no matter how many times I said it was my wired that needs fixing.

Their internet connection is dumb. I've not been able to watch any videos for a whole fucking week. It gives me about 5 seconds to watch a video then it buffers for 5 fucking minutes. It's hell, I tell you.

Funny thing is even though I transferred with a mac code AND contact virgin directly to confirm my last payment they are still trying to take money off me. I cancelled by direct debit, now they've got the debt collectors phoning me. IDIOTS!!!

I am having terrible problems with my virgin media router, when I connect my connection speeds are amazing however somedays it just decides to stop fucking working. I try turning the router on and off, leaving it 5 minutes off and then turning back on, it says the connection is excellent but there is no connection to the internet at all and it keeps telling me to keep turning it off and I;m sick of it :/

The majority of then people that complain though are the people that fail to understand that the majority of there advertising is either false. Or there fool you. Unlimited downloads is only valid from 50mb and above which takes me to my next point. 8mb broadband, 50mb broadband, why are they the same? Because i am saying 8 Megabytes and 50megabits. Unfortunately it's not false advertising. And designed for people that don't understand the fundamental differences between megabytes and megabits.

seriously, been with them for 4 years, since there name was "telewest broadband" ive had the fibre optic 10meg for ages. I can't complain. my ping is around 15ms and im on a router, wireless laptop. So unless you have a router from the 90s i guess its your own setup, or your area. Mine works perfect. But they're customer service does suck a bit. I do reccomend them though, they are the fastest in the UK.

Been with virgin ever since they started the internet service, Never had a problem. Now I have a 100MB Connection, On speedtest is shows up as 99.6MB, which is great. If your internet goes slow, its your problem.
