So...Dead Man's Shoes led me here - played right at the end when Richard is lying in a pool of blood - pan out to the beautiful Derbyshire countryside and Riber Castle.
If you have never seen this film - watch it - cinimatography at it's best!

Easly one of the most beautiful Hyms in Orthodoxy. I'm planing on introducing this to St. Nicholas Antiocian Orthodox church in Springdale, AR.
My Native Church, St.Johns Antiocian Orthodox Cathedral in Eagle River,AK. The Choirs version of this Chant would give this choir a run for there money.

Bortnyansky possessed the depth of harmony no other composer did. If his music is performer by proper voiced choir - like this one - Dmitry can take us straight to heaven without leaving the earth... And... maybe it is all the same anyway.... ;-)
