Aww, the poor thing, looks like it hadn't had any good food before you found it, good thing you nursed it back to health, it looks almost all skin and bones!

I bet you made this cat fat and round. I found my cat outside and he was very skinny, hungry, young and beat up. now he is plump and happy

That is one sickly looking kitty! You must have fed him some real good food for him to grow up healthy! Thanks for rescuing him. I'd love to see a video of how he looks today. (;^)

Thats great that you gave him a home. He is one lucky kitty to have found you.

You are right about the part where we shouldn't adopt kittens when they are only two weeks old, but I don't think he is brain damaged! He is actually a healthy young adult now. He has been living with us for two years now and he is as healthy as a cat can be. We found him in our parking lot. The mom was nowhere to be found and I think that it was best that we took him into our house than left him for dead. We bottle fed him eight times a day for a month to make sure he get all the nutrients.
How Old Was This Kitten? Looks To Young To Be Away From Its Mom.

It was evaluated to be 2 weeks old by the vet, so it was indeed too young to be far from its mother. we found it in our parking lot, all alone, so we rescued it and bottle fed it for a month or so. Now it is healthy and normal!

Thank you!
we tried to find the mom and we saw a cat around our house right after we took the kitty in. We put the kitten back out with us watching for the mom to come, but after 30 minutes without seeing her, we took him back. We felt bad at first, but the street cats there are not very healthy, so we feel we saved the poor thing.

wow, im worried it might get stepped on. my sister stepped on my frog 4 years ago. put that cute thang in a safe spot, ie not the ground

Tnanks for your concern, and I'm sorry for your your frog. You are right about keeping it in a safe spot, but as he grew older, we had to let him out of the box, in which he spent most of his "childhood". He is all good now and has never been stepped on.
