Chinese child-prodigy painter Wang Yani started to paint when she was two and a half. Her delightful and vivid menagerie of water-colour animals, especially monkeys, are famous throughout China. Yani visited London with her father when she was ten and the Third Eye cameras followed her everywhere - to schools and museums, where she painted in public and to the Zoo, where she had her first encounter with a Giant Panda.

The film is narrated by the famous TV naturalist, Sir David Attenborough.
