@7822welshsteam The parts are easy to obtain! They sell quickly, with NO QUESTIONS ASKED! There is quite a black market out there for this stuff & always people who know how to get it!
Come on over & take a look, you won't find them here!

@7822welshsteam I am always watching my own back! You only think you know who has scrapped steam locomotives. We scrapped 2 in the last 10 years. They were in bad condition & had not run in 55-57 years. They were static displays in city parks until the the liability of having small children to climb upon them was realized. The non-profit interest could not meet the bills so they were scrapped. Lucky us!
Remember, you lost the war!
Steam played it's part, but preserving it any longer is folly!

@7822welshsteam Absolutely great idea! Since I am not married, how is this going to happen? It certainly will not be any crime against me!
If you got a problem with that, you should quit! Give it up!
If you & your friends are getting tired, go to bed! If you know where I live, come on over! It is good to know that the wife I do not have is so hot!
It is pretty tough to burn down scrap metal, but you are welcome to try! Let it burn! Burn baby, burn!

WHY does everyone keep acknowledging Cockroach2008? He's just some kid trying to cause some trouble....he WANTS everyone to respond with hateful comments. STOP taking the bait, and he will go away.

The semi-streamlined GS locomotives of the Southern Pacific are gorgeous, and the 4449, in my opinion, is one of the most beautiful engines ever built, great chatch!
