That is a very nasty comment. My neighbors are across from me in the trees. I only sang those elements that pertained. It was heart felt & I know how to sing for myself. I don't think I bothered a soul. It's better to hear some musical attempts than gunshots in the middle of the night, no ? Were you just being sarcastic ? Do you hate the song that much that you go on utube & comment on it, maybe even listen to it ? Hmm?

Three weeks ago I said goodbye to Joni, my Cocker Spaniel & all I could do was sit out on my front porch & sing "River" out into the dark & abiding night. Such is the power of great music & how wonderful we can learn to sing it. I cried all night long. This song has hit me many times in the past, but lately not as much as saying goodbye.

Loosing ones best friend, whether it's animal or human, is never a nice thing and people deal with grief in different ways.
