Epic things continued:

8: He makes a reference to the movie's theme (Driving With The Top Down)

9: He is faster than a jet.

10: He can hold on to the bottom of a jet.

11: No hard feelings at the end. He rescues one of the pilots who were shooting missiles at him.

These are the things that make this scene epic:

1: His epic entrance into the town under attack.

2: He punches a guy so hard he creates a crater in the building he hits.

3: He has GUIDED BULLETS. FUCK YEA.

4: He punches through a wall to get at the bad guy.

5: A freaking TANK SHELL only makes his face a bit smudged with soot.

6: His much smaller tank missile explodes the tank.

7: He rights his wrongs by exploding the Jericho missiles.

First, just to be clear, this scene (especially the beginning at Gulmira - that was badass, realistic within the bounds of the story, and consistent) is my favorite in the movie.

I know I'm doing a fair share of nitpicking... however, I expect scriptwriters to come up with more plausible/realistic foes and to be consistent. Without it, the suspension of disbelief is a lot harder, and hence it reduces the fun of watching the movie.

This is why Iron Man 1 is the best so far in the avengers movies, it had cinematic perspectives not just shots meant purely for action like iron man 2

the tech isn't supposed to be real... its a movie. if he had used his tiny missile at the end it would be boring. the same thing with the F-22's. if he had just automatically evaded them it would be stupid and add no action to the plot

@ 2:40 damn, how does a tank shoot him down. I dont about you guys but if you have ever played Battlefield 3 and tried shooting a jet with a tank. It's pretty hard, here we have ironman who is tiny compared to jets. Going twice as fast as the jets from battlefield 3, and not only does the tank shoot him, but with a dead center headshot. even though its still a movie, it stll baffles me when i think about it
