Taking Sabah would mean war the Malaysians and many innocent people will be killed. It is not worth risking more lives when there is already a war going on in Mindanao. The Malaysians can keep Sabah but please stop supporting the Muslim rebels to show your gratitude. The Sultan of Zulu perhaps have different opinion, the invasion of Sabah if he is as powerful as president Arroyo.

according to history, sabah was part of the sultanate of sulu when the kingdom of brunei gave it to the sultan as a gift when sulu helped brunei with its internal war. when the spaniards came, they never entered sulu because of insurgency against them but the sultan gave permission to the English conqueror who is in malaysia to exploit sabah in an agreement of renting it and returning it to the real owner which is the philippines. but they never return it even the US reminded UK about it

in international law, a government who lease or rent a land should give the land back to the real owner after 99 years of staying in it. hongkong which was leased by the english and returned back to china after 99 years while portugal gave back macao. england never listened to the plea of the philippines and the sultan of sulu. Pres. Diosdado Macapagal, father of incumbent pres. Gloria Arroyo, cut Manila's diplomatic relations to KL in support to the sultan.

sabah is closer than Manila than its Malaysian capital of KL.sabah-manila=1143. while KL=1678. the british gave assurance of the sultan of sulu in providing weapons against the spaniards. in return they will exploit sabah. in 1972, pres. marcos secretly trained army in the coast of corrigidor in manila to penetrate sabah via armed secession but the army mutinied and banned. this led to some speculation that KL is aiding muslim separitist by means of weapons agains the Philippines

@SultanKiramAlfhadz3...
