Western Electric model 554 phone

This phone used to be my Grandmothers. She gave it to us after she broke her leg and we made her get a cordless.

The only thing wrong is it needs a new receiver cord.

Just bought one last weekend at a Flea Market except beige. I hung it in my Kitchen Works great! I love the old bell ring! Im keeping it in my Kitchen.. Take care of your Grandma's Phone :)

I have one from 1981 that's the same color and everything except it's push button. Dial phones were passe by the mid seventies but still manufactured and in use. What you can't see is that the phone is very heavy! The phone I have does not fit on today's jacks, for some reason.

We had a old push button telephone in our basement till about 4 years ago, then someone threw it out!!! So sad!!!

my folks had one exactly like that but it was white in our kitchen. i want a table model for my room... but i never talk on the phone! just think they look cool.
