@RaguXT Yeah I am. Just because he called it a philosophy does not make it so. It is categorized as a major world religion for a reason. If you try to tell me that karma, reincarnation, planes of existence, enlightenment, and all the fables and tales from Buddhism make it nothing more than a Philosophy, then you are sadly, sadly mistaking. I'm going on technicalities here, it is a religion, not just a Philosophy.

@CaptainSpellingError I come from a country in which 79% are buddhists, and I went to world's largest buddhist school there is. So I know my buddhism thank you. Buddha himself claimed that it's a way of life, a philosophy. Your refuting Buddhism's founders claims? LOL!

@RugtimXII oh you should be surprised how many christian are actualy into science but if you bring them here they will simply say i don't have the answer i'm not a priest only priest would have an answer to this. trust me i try'ed to convince them the bible is fraud but brainwash is brainwash can't turn their own world around or they wont know where to go to anymore. its a psychological healing for them just let them but.

@GhostlyRebellion Yep, It is close to atheism in many ways. Buddhism is merely a way of life, or an in depth philosophical view about the peoples' minds i'd say!

@RaguXT I think Buddhism is more of a philosophic than religion. It has not deities or gods as far as i know.

just to make one thing clear, buddhists never claim all the people to be gods. Buddhism only says that by meditation and self discipline one can strengthen one's mind and find peace. I'm an atheist as well. Just making a small correction. cheers!
