Hypnotherapy and NLP can cure OCD
We will work with you to help you to eliminate obsessive compulsive disorder OCD patterns from your thinking and behaviour. We aim to do this quickly and effectively using a variety of approaches from hypnotherapy and NLP so do contact us now.

There are many 'versions' of OCD that we can help you recover from
OCD ranges from someone repeatedly checking that the taps have been turned off, the gas is turned off, or there is 'nothing under the bed', to someone who repeatedly washes their hands until they are red-raw and bleeding because they are afraid of contamination, or disease.

There is also an OCD category of 'obsessive thoughts', where a person cannot seem to get the 'bad' thoughts out of their mind.

Then there are those who obsessively engage in some physical activity, such as picking at their face

In any event, hypnosis and NLP may well provide the cure for your version of OCD. JustbeWell has clinics worldwide so do get in touch for help.

  • If you have OCD or think you have OCD go to a reputable site for information, like the International Obsessive Compulsive Foundations site. There is no evidence that hypotherapy or NLP will help OCD. There is a significant body of research showing that behavioral methods are the gold standard for OCD treatment.

  • @angela171717 I agree that of all the forms of psychotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is the one that tends to get positive results. There hasnt been a scientific study into NLP and OCD yet, which is a shame. From personal experience over 16 years with a wide variety of obsessive behaviours I can certainly say these techniques can be very effective. It IS important to seek proper professional help. Not every CBT therapist will be able to help and thats also true of NLP practitioners too.

  • Hipnosis will only work for a particular fear. Since fears are always swtching with OCD it is not an effective strategy to overcome OCD.

  • @YOUHAVEOCD Thanks for your comment but that depends who is doing the hypnosis. When you combine NLP with hypnotherapy you are treating the pattern, not the individual fear. The aim is to build choice and flexibilty into the persons thinking so that they are in charge of their thinking rather than seeminlgy being at the mercy of their thoughts.

  • i think i might have ocd. because i always think that something i own like my computer gets damaged. and i always worry that theres something wrong with the things i own. i always drive myself crazy thinking everything that i own must be perfect.

  • ocd sucks-_- i gotta check something over and over again even wen i no i already did and makes my imagination run wild:/ the only way for my to calm my ocd is to first know that u did do something and second reconized thats its not u its ur ocd

  • I remember I had OCD since I was a child & I remember having to be spelling words in my head as I was counting the letters & I would stop as soon as I reached a word that was either 10 letters or a sentence of 20 letters, very weird I know. Now I gotta be washing my hands everytime I feel I touched something with germs, I use Lysol for everything! off. Also if I buy something that later I see on sale either there or somewhere else, i have to return it to get the deal and not feel ripped off.
