Today Sam Cornwell gets shown the Billy Banks housing complex that was left to ruin in 1999. It is now 2011 and windows are smashed and the flats are falling apart. This was a real urbex mission looking into the dereliction of council housing in Penarth, Cardiff.

before you went you should of done a bit of research on it, before the council forced all of the residents to move as they intended on buildin a new housing complex, i had lots a friends and family living there, the place once was a bustling community where anyone would do anything for each other, and then someone like you comes along wiv no research on the place sayin things like its a vile disgustin place, in the dirty suburbs etc hav u ever been 2 penarth before

Enjoyed this vlog very much. BTW Sammy C, I see that you and my girlfriend have been in cohorts. I nearly fell out of my chair watching my birthday vlog - thank you very much, it was a hilarious moment in my day. You did such a good job. I enjoyed the video it was interesting to see it now as i have been living in manchester for 4 years and havent been there for years and was strange to see it as it is now, especially the fire damaged block as i had friends sending me videos of it its weird to see a block of flats without a roof on lols =D
