  • This version of this song, breaks my heart every time I hear it,my old man(my dad) was dying of Cancer, and I was an aspiring actor in Ireland,he said,"you have to be this type of man".I'm still trying.(and no. I won't quit)you keep going, you have to...

  • This is an excellent version of this remarkable song.

Cervantes wrote Don Quixote as a mockery of the whole knight era. When knights went on great quests and ended up broke, broken and defeated in so many places and times.

As a huge fan of the medieval age myself this is an antidote to the sanitized version of knighthood. No doubt they made many wondrous, brave and important quests during their time but it later got to the point where whole countries were going bankrupt to support them.

  • @senior1110 Bob Goulet will NEVER hold a candle to the Majestic performance of Brian Stokes Mitchell. Sorry but this is just my humble opinion.

  • This is a perfect performance and a perfect song! The tears are flowing. Beautiful!

  • My favourite of all times. The Man from La Mancha, Don Quijote, Cervantes. God bless his soul for his existence.. Thank you for this jewel @laurence 5151

  • @carpenterabc A nice interpretation of this song. Personally, I fall very short of this ideal and am wondering how many of us are made of this stuff.

  • all songs should be like this... it has both passion & concept.... very nice bravo....: > )

  • If he's faking that lisp, it's absolutely incredible. He makes his voice sound so simple, and then all of a sudden at the end of a phrase, it opens up into this deep cannon. He's amazing.

  • I tear up a bit if I sing along.
