It is not Garland's voice. This was originally aired on the PBS series American Masters. I believe the woman who narrates for Garland was the woman who played her in The Boy's from Oz (show based on the Alllen Brothers). I do believe the dialog is from Garland's own tapes however, which she recorded for the autobiography she never completed.

@MicheleBell1 They should make a TV movie of Gerald Frank's book "JUDY" & do it in miniseries format starting with MGM years, then the 1950's concert years and "ASIB" & then the last decade of her life. It takes more than 2 hrs to tell Judy's life and career. Also use an actress who really resembles her but use acutal footage of judy when she performs. This way ppl will see the magic then go back to the actress playing Judy when she isnt performing. this way there wont be any bad lipsyncing.

Thanks MicheleBell1, this is one of my favorite Judy Garland documentaries. The A&E Bio which aired in 1996 was another good one This one is my favorite because the woman who is doing Judy's voice really sounds a lot like Judy. I have this on the "Easter Parade" DVD. John Fricke knows his stuff and I enjoy everything he does when it comes to Judy. He and I have been online friends for 15 yrs and he really has done a lot to keep Garland's memory alive.
