Vote Yes on Proposition 37 for our right to know what's in our food. Join our campaign: http://www.carighttoknow.org

The very same corporations that brought us DDT and Agent Orange are now funding the No on Proposition 37 campaign trying to deny our right to know what's in our food.

Help us fight back with the truth by donating today so we can keep airing our hard-hitting ad. Please make a donation today: http://www.carighttoknow.org/donate_tv

The ad says it all -- we've heard the false corporate health claims before. They said cigarettes were safe, DDT was safe, even that Agent Orange was safe. The two major donors against our right to know in California are Monsanto and Dow -- the two corporations most responsible for DDT and Agent Orange. We've heard from them - now let's hear the truth!

All Proposition 37 does is require clear labels letting consumers know if foods are genetically modified. We already have food labels showing nutrition, allergy information and other facts consumers want to know. This measure simply adds information telling us if food is produced using genetic engineering, which is when food is modified in a laboratory by adding DNA from other plants, animals, bacteria or viruses. Found footage sourced from Internet Archives.

The Potato Famine in Ireland was caused by a lack of biodiversity of the potato grown in Ireland. Biodiversity occurs naturally. Monsanto is destroying biodiversity of our food supply.

Monsanto ye be the lowest scum on this our earth. Ye plan two new murders for each new birth. We will rejoice when you fail in your quest, because we know nature knows best. I will not spit on your graves as I hate standing in mile long queues but you'll be in Hell when the world loosens your noose. Die Fuckers I won't shed a tear, die slowly as your end is near.

monoculture has too many disadvantages therefore it is not fully utilized like crop rotation. Monoculture can cause numerous disease to reoccur which puts that method at a disadvantage. in a free market economy nothing goes to waste including land.

Yes, I have heard of crop rotation, thank you. Unfortunately though, monoculture is still widely practiced in industrial agriculture. Clearly, YOU are the one who needs to do some fact checking.

Sadly, that's pretty much the corporate, pro-GMO rhetoric and I disagree with the assumption of GMO safety and that produce is produce. IMHO it's not what's in it as much as what's not in it. However, Prop. 378 isn't about GMOs per se; it's about labeling them as such so that if you're comfortable eating products/produce with GMOs, so be it. But the same should hold true for people who do not want to consume GMOs. Label 'em. Let us make informed decisions.

waste in an economic sense is profit loss. Companies have to be efficient as possible when it comes to putting product out in the market. There is no wastefull grinding practices like you claim. Land is worth money, so is the equipment, and so are the workers. Farmers must maximize and fully utilize their land. IF it weren't for GMO's 2 billion people would STARVE TO DEATH. You can thank Norman Borlaug for that.

you obviously have absolutely no idea what you are talkign about . Whoever spread this misinformation to you clearly doesn't have his/her facts checked ether. Ever hear of crop rotation? The dust bowl is what really "killed" the land because before they didn't do that in practice. I work in the food industry. We have compost as waste. They send those pallets back to the farmers break them down and use it as fertilizer. The way it is currently set up is higly efficient with little waste.

The reason non GMO is not sufficient to feed the entire planet's population is that the current methods of cultivation are ridiculous and completely unsustainable. If they'd quit killing acreage with insanely irresponsible, wasteful and destructive agricultural practices, there would be no need for GMO.
