What was the point of going in the building at the beginning of this? Does getting scrolls save that much time in the long run?

Absolutely you will need it for both The Technodrome and The Shredder

it shaves off a good amount of time I've run the game 30+ times now since

getting my Toshiba DR420 DVD Recorder

and about 10 times i tried it without the scrolls in the long run

i take more damage and it eats up time and my runs on the game have to be no turtles lost

i can still pull it off but it just eats up to much time this run I've uploaded is my fastest time to date :)

room @ 5:40-5:48 taxed my 6 year old mental skills so much. i screamed at the tv and cried like a bitch so many times because of dying there it wasn't funny. i remember getting to the other door i actually stopped for a minute and had like a moment of reflection because it was a major achievement

i used to hate it when a game was glitching then it slows down to a crawl while you are trying to get past a lot of enemies!

@xISOmaniac I never go in the building myself. I always wish I have scrolls for the long hallway just before shredder, but I just inch along.
