The second part of my demo of the metal muff on bass guitar. Message me if you have any questions, its pretty self explanatory. Take the most awesome guitar distortion pedal on the market, and put it on a bass. Add bass big muff if you want more bass.

  • For cliff sound. Big muff pi OR Metal muff. Please dont say both.

  • @BoseBassist Big muff pi doesn't give you cliff sound. It gives you guitar sound. The metal muff will get you close, but to get close to Cliff sound you need a bass big muff. check out my cliff burton tone video

  • im looking at distortion pedels because the distortion on my morly is cutting it any more and was wondering should i get the bass big muff or the metal muff

  • @southparkfan1999 The cliff sound (I heard) is closest to a russian big muff with a morley, but I prefer the metal muff because it will get heavier. Don't get the bass big muff unless you're combining it with another pedal. The boss ds-1 for guitar is also pretty close to the cliff sound.

  • @themanonthebass Definitely man, a bass boost on this pedal would be a great bonus I tried my guitarists metal muff at band practice and sounded killer for cutting through

  • @robdelabassist totally. thanks for knowing what you're talking about. mids will get you to the front of the mix, especially with scooped guitars.

  • @themanonthebass I think you could easily cut through the band on bass with the metal muff as its got great mids

  • @themanonthebass alright. Thanks alot bro. i just ordered a Big muff Pi and a Morley power wah. i will save up for the metal muff as well.

  • @themanonthebass thanks for your help when i get the money ill get the metal muff

  • @themanonthebass i going for a cliff type of sound and the morly has the wah but not the distortion

  • @southparkfan1999 completely different pedals. I find the bass big muff changes your sound and adds a little bit of edge, watch my demo vid for that, the metal muff is good for over the top thick sound. As you can see it sounds very much like a guitar, so I fear it will get lost in the mix of a band, but I love playing it at home by myself or with drums. The bass big muff is alright, watch my vid, its a very different pedal. What kind of distortion are you going for?
