    Cagney showed Judo skills in this movie, in real life he was a good boxer. Great character actor and tough guy. Always loved his movies.

    Actually James Cagney had a legitimate Black Belt in Judo. There are pictures of him at the Kodokan Judo School in Japan. The "bad guy" here is actually the teacher at the Hollywood Judo Academy.

    Probably. But James Cagney has something Norris will NEVER get: An OSCAR for YANKEE DOODLE DANDY- an OSCAR nomination for ANGELS WITH DIRTY FACES & another nom for LOV ME OR LEAVE ME. Versatility is the key to such things.
