@JoshR1 it`s not surprised.

true.

@LeonRFpoa Although the Grand Cherokee wouldn't be my choice for off road, to be fair, don't fail to mention that the GC can be (or have been) equipped with progressive locking limited slips front and rear. And although the HP isn't that much more, it has a heck of a lot more TORQUE, which is more important at low speeds.
Then also don't forget the higher towing capacity.
As far as size and weight go, there are other Jeeps that are lighter and smaller, so why not be fair and compare them?

nice!

hell yeah, represent that CR-V! I am in the blue ridge mountains right now in mine. CR-V first generation are some great little off road cars. Mud tires is all they need to do some stuff even a Jeep couldn't get into. Jeep grand cherokee = 4.0l / 190 hp. CRV= 2.0l / 145hp. Jeep= 4,240lbs. CRV= 3230lbs. Jeep = 20 mpg. CRV = 25 / 22 city. Jeep = 9 inches ground clearance. CRV= 12. Jeep= SUV size. CRV= compact size. Jeep = american power CRV= Japanese efficiency and reliability.
