they usually die pretty quick. i have had 3 deer that didnt even know they were shot until they fell over.

nice shooting. I want to try bow hunting, but I want a near instant death for the animal and I'd be afraid of not making a good shot and just wounding the animal. does a higher let-off affect accuracy? I want to look into a concept archery bow and put an air-rest on it (the down-sides I've heard of the air rest are mostly cost), if not that then a whisker biscuit or a ripcord rest. do you think it'd work

@nichoharri any archery shop should carry them and they come in different sizes and different powers.I think I paid a little over 70 dollers for mine that was 5 years ago.

@nichoharri A scope like I have anyway is A piece of glass called a clarifier goes in the peep sight another goes in your sight.mine is 4x.not at all like a scope on a gun.
