@Maxaxle If you mean CoD, then yes, I agree. But there are some pretty good ones. The metroid games (that came out recently-ish) were amazing.

@crazybay46913 No, I mean made them shitty (as Yahtzee points out time and again, but then again he's a fan of the old stuff if it's not pointlessly rehashed). Example of a good multiplayer FPS (balanced weapons, good gameplay, etc.): Halo. The original one, that is, though its sequels aren't bad either.

@M4ruta Yes it is, in Germany we say only Ego-Shooter or Shooter. I never heard anyone say in Germany First Person Shooter - only in some PC Papers or other Newspapers they use Sometimes FPS or First Person Shooter
