Alright, let's come to this video with an open mind. I'll ask some questions that everyone can answer, or not. I said I dislike this video, but it was for petty reasons. If I'm to dislike this, I would like to actually examine the video first, then make a decision.

Ok so. This song is inspired (?) by Steve Wonder? What song did he sing that this was adapted from? Next, the lyrics are spastic, which is fine. But how does this video performance relate to the song? If anyone can answer, thanks.

I remember first watching this years ago, one of the first animal collective pertained videos on youtube. It brings pretty nostalgia ^^

@Armistice0 You misunderstand. There's a difference between the spastic nature of the lyrics and the meaning of the lyrics themselves. I was asking how the song (lyrics) relate to the video performance.

@Dillrod90 To clarify, the lyrics differ very slightly.

"Well I just called to say I like you.

I just called to wonder if you cared."

As opposed to this in the regular version:

"Can I tell you that you are the purple in me?

Can I call you just to hear you, would you care?"

And so forth. As for the lyrics being spastic and it's relation to the video...can't you tell? ;p
