tis an excellent creative piece however i think youve misinterpreted this poem
Catullus wasnt in the red light district of Rome, he was at the house of Varus most likely on the Palatine
Also she was a perfectly proper lady and Catullus is simply pissed at her for calling out his lie of literally he "wasnt unable to buy the litterbearers"
meaning he probably was able to buy them he simply didnt which would be the truth as he had said in the poem
also not the diminutive use of Scortillum
