Having fun with my new harmonizer lol, just doing some vocal improv on a cool setting. Tons of auto tune, and 4 part auto-harmony! SO cool! I'm loving my Voiceworks so far.

  • Wow...beautiful. Really great mic technique you're using there. I've been thinking about buying the same unit and your video has pretty much convinced me. Would you mind telling me if you were recording that into a computer or into a multitrak recorder of some sort? I was under the impression that you had to be inputting a midi instrument in order for the vocals to follow the chord structures. Not true, apparently? Thanks for doing the video!

  • @RandyBishopMusic Hey there! Thank you for stopping by, I appreciate the wonderful comments. This is the rig set up I have: Rode K2 Mic plugs into the TC-Helicon Voiceworks (XLR in)....voiceworks plugs into the Focusrite Saffire Pro audio interface via Spdif i/o, and balanced outputs into 2 inputs on the focusrite)....the focusrite plugs into my iMac via firewire 800, which then runs into Logic Pro. (lol) a tongue twister but it's quite a cool device, I say it's worth it!!! Cheers

  • Hiya,

Thanks for sharing - sounds great!

    Best wishes,

    Joey @ TC-Helicon

  • @tchelicon Thank you Joey! I wonder if you can help me? Do you have any idea how I would go about bypassing it's builtin preamp and using it as effects? I have a Focusrite Saffire Pro and I've connected it via spdif but for it to work, I have to connect the mic in the actual device...I was hoping to use my preamp with the helicon as effects. let me know if you have any ideas about that. Thanks!
