I definitely know what he means, though it's not just a problem for the deaf world. It's more destructive to Deaf Culture, that's true, but hearing parents and those without "technology" often get frustrated at the same phenomenon when trying to talk to someone who's got their faces buried in a smartphone or some such. Funny video, at any rate. Thanks, Keith. ;-)

my ASL teacher sorta did the same thing... he went back to class and was telling the class about his sperm poboy and signed sperm instead of pizza

OMG!!!!! ridiculously hysterical!!!!!!!! I could not stop laughing from the minute he signed "pizza" I was laughing so hard I couldn't hear the rest of the video, and had to watch it again to hear the rest. LOVED IT!!!!!!!

I am just learning ASL this year. And last Wednesday my teacher taught us Lesbian. It was kind of funny because she also told us some swear words in ASL.

ASL is the best!! Teach your kids signs so you can better understand their needs ... and learn them yourself too!! its eassyyyyy.. To say thank u.. you take all five of your fingers close them up together then raise them up to the bottom of your chin. pause then release off the chin like you are kissing some one goodbye from a distance.. Enjoy!!

One of my friends constantly confuses the signs for pizza and lesbian and then hungry and horny. She definitely told an entire room of Deaf people once that she was extremely horny. I could not stop laughing!

I love it.... reminds me of the time I went into a fast food joint with a friend and the kid behind the counter asked if we wanted to try her cherry pie. Unfortunately, the signs she used had nothing to do with fruit or pastry and everything to do with what was in her pants. I declined, and my friend to mess with her head asked how many slices she had served that day. OUCH!
