this album was fucking amazing, their best in my opinion. Almost every song was worth listening to. not like there other albums where theres a handful of great songs and the rest are either wierd or shitty.

4. Stadium Arcadium. Some of the individual songs are great - no, absolutely fabulous - but it feels... generic overall. I like RHCP because they sound like absolutely nothing else. SA... feels like everything else. Also... I'm gonna get hate for saying this, but it's too long?

5. TRHCP. Tbh, I haven't given it much of a chance, but it doesn't do it for me. Tinny production not backed up my Slovak's raging guitars just makes the vocals overwhelm.

3. One Hot Minute = I'm With You. OHM is good if you take it for what it is. Lyrics suck ass - Kiedis is too blatant to combine dark and serious effectively. IWY has some great moments (Police Station <3), but doesn't sustain it, and just feels an indecisive, and far weaker version of BTW to me at times. Also, having positive lyrics about religion and filthy songs on the same album doesn't work.

2. Mother's Milk = Freaky Styley = Californication. All fantastic albums. It's a shame any of them have to be second.

If you have to ask:-

1. BSSM = Uplift Mofo Party Plan = By The Way. I love BSSM for the best overall combination - great production, great organisation, best vocals without a doubt, some soft songs between the funk-rock-rapping combo. UMPP combines raw, gritty lo-fi with charging punk, awesome funk, and the Chili's best irreverent humour. BTW... BTW is just beautiful and makes my heart soar. Sounds like a little piece of the Californian sunshine. Experimental, distinct, yet soft.
