I seen them in a FREE concert in my town Rich Hill MO on the 4th of july they did an awsome job and this was my fav part of the show and my fav song of theres also got a meet and greet before hand the guys were really cool

Actually, the song is about a phone conversation with an old friend who'd moved away to pursue a career in art. He was having his doubts about his own "version" of reality. From the original song: "If you wonder if your vision's jaded, just ask someone, who will tell you true. The one true friend who see's all that you've painted. He'll say, 'Hey man, that looks just like you.'"

A man went to the mountains to paint the perfect picture of the world. The picture I think symbolizes real life and wants to capture perfect vision of real life. But after trying to find perfection, he finds that a perfect life is impossible to achieve. What is a perfect life is in the eye of the beholder. It's message is that you can attempt to go thru life excepting to your life to pan out a certain way but in the end, you do what you do and you find perfection in the imperfections in life.

The lead singer of BlackHawk, Henry Paul, is very much alive. The only member of BlackHawk that passed away is Van Stephenson who died of cancer in 2001.

@DarrylHawk he is very alive i seen em play the red river exibition in winnipeg a couple times they also played club regent to great band one of the best

@berggarry I know he is alive. It wasn't me that said he wasn't. I posted to say it was Van that passed away not lead singer Henry Paul.
